Elon first-year students were able to meet alumni who lived in their neighborhood and hear about their experiences.

Elon alum visit campus to meet and greet families on move-in day.
In an effort to support Elon University’s goal of mentoring and supporting students, Residence Life and the Office of Alumni Engagement partnered to engage alumni with Elon students on their first day on campus.

Through the Phoenix Alumni Move-In Initiative, Elon first-year students are able to meet alumni who lived in their neighborhood and hear about their experiences.

Through this program, volunteers select the campus neighborhood where they want to work, with most people choosing to visit where they lived as a student and greet students who live on their former hall.
