Candidates for County Commissioner will share their views in a forum in Whitley Auditorium.
A Public Forum on Education in Alamance County will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Whitley Auditorium. Candidates for the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will share their views on the Alamance County Vision for Public Education and the Alamance-Burlington School System strategic plan. Moderator for the forum will be Jason Husser, assistant professor of political science and policy studies. The forum is supported by Alamance Citizens for Education, Impact Alamance, Alamance Burlington Association of Educators, Alamance-Burlington School Personnel and Alamance NAACP. Student tickets will be available with a Phoenix Card at the door beginning at 6 p.m.
