Tiffany Atkins
One of Elon Law’s newest faculty members was a featured panelist in September at the annual conference of the Society of American Law Teachers.

Tiffany Atkins, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow who joined the Elon Law faculty in August, shared advice and insights at a discussion geared toward individuals interested in transitioning from law practice to legal education.

The conference was hosted by the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago.

Prior to joining the Elon Law faculty, Atkins worked for Legal Aid of North Carolina, where she represented low-income clients in various types of civil cases. She also provided advocacy and representation in criminal expunctions and certificates of relief cases.

Atkins, a 2011 graduate of Elon Law, was one of the school’s most accomplished students. She was the recipient of the David Gergen Leadership and Professionalism Award, which is given annually at graduation to one student whose activities represent the twin principles of leadership and professionalism.
