The chapter is included in the 2016 edition of “Student Displacement: A Guide for Higher Education Administrators.”
Elon University’s Registrar Rodney Parks and Assistant Registrar Jesse Parrish have contributed multiple book chapters to the recently published “Student Displacement: A Guide for Higher Education Administrators” from the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
The book seeks to provide institutions with the practices needed to support students whose education has been interrupted from factors outside their control. Parks and Parrish contributed to chapters on financial displacement, military and veteran displacement, sexual victimization on campus, and medical outbreaks.
“Student Displacement” is one of AACRAO’s widely disseminated publications and is the first of its kind to address uncommon challenges students may face which can impact their collegiate and personal lives. For a preview of the book, click here.
