Global Education Symposium – April 21-22

The Department of Physical Therapy Education is hosting a two-day symposium titled "Measuring student learning in global education: Developing strategies for assessment" on April 21-22, 2017.

The two-day symposium will feature global education scholars Darla Deardoff and Eric Hartman in two plenaries and an interactive panel discussion about global health, human rights, global learning and 

assessment fundamentals in global education.

Deardoff is the executive director of the Association of International Education Administrators. Hartman is the executive director of the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship at Haverford College. 

The morning session on day one is open to faculty from any department or discipline engaged in or thinking about the impact of global learning. The afternoon session and day two of the sypmosium are specifically tailored for DPT faculty. 

An early registration fee of $100 must be received prior to March 1. After March 1,the registration fee is $150. Registration is open until seating capacity is filled.
