A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. this afternoon, with a mix of rain, sleet and snow expected in the Elon campus area.
In Greensboro, Elon University School of Law will be closed this afternoon. Elon Law’s library and all departments will close at 1 p.m. and the building in downtown Greensboro will close at 2 p.m.
Physical Plant crews will be out on main campus throughout the day keeping walkways cleared, as well as salting and sanding. Spots may be slippery, so proper footwear and extra time/caution is advised.
Faculty and staff who are concerned about safe travel to or from campus should consult with their respective dean (faculty) or supervisor (staff). Students who might be prevented from traveling safely should contact their professors.
