Recent music theatre graduate debuts in Disney’s 'Frozen' on Broadway

Jake Smith '19 recently made his Broadway principal debut on Sunday, Aug. 11, as the charming and conniving Prince Hans.

Days before graduation in May, Jake Smith '19 received the exciting call that he would be joining the cast of "Frozen" on Broadway as a member of the ensemble as well as understudying the role of "Hans."

Smith began rehearsals shortly after graduation in New York City and then made his official Broadway debut on June 14. Earlier this month, Smith performed music from "Frozen" with other members of cast on "The Today Show" and on Sunday, Aug. 11, he made his Broadway principal debut as "Hans."

"Frozen" is currently running eight shows a week at the St. James Theatre.
