Haley was the featured speaker during 2019 Fall Convocation and was the first in in the 2019-20 season of the Elon University Speaker Series. In her remarks, Haley urged people to find common ground even if they hold differing opinions and shared lessons she learned while leading her home state as well as while representing the United States at the U.N.
