Elon launches Partners Program for local businesses and organizations

Elon Partners in Alamance and Guilford counties are invited to connect with the university and let their customers and patrons know of their support for Elon.

Elon University has launched a new Partners Program to build new ties with businesses and organizations in Alamance and Guilford counties and strengthen bonds with existing partners in the community. To date, more than 130 businesses and organizations have signed to become Elon Partners.

Hundreds of local businesses and organizations serve Elon students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff. This program allows those members of the local community to signal their support of Elon University to customers and patrons and also become more familiar with the role Elon University plays in the regional economy.

“With a history stretching back 130 years, Elon University has long enjoyed strong bonds with those who live and work in our home community,” said President Connie Ledoux Book. “The Elon Partners Program builds on these mutually beneficial relationships and paves the way for increased collaborations and connections.”

Partners in the no-cost program are provided with complimentary Elon spirit materials to display in their places of business, including a window decal, banner, pennant and table tent. Partners are listed on a dedicated page on Elon’s website (www.elon.edu/partners) and will also receive ticket vouchers for Elon cultural and athletics events along with a subscription to the university’s quarterly Magazine of Elon.

Businesses and organizations interested in participating can sign up online at www.elon.edu/u/about/partners/signup/.
