The award was presented virtually at the annual Georgia WebMBA faculty workshop held Oct. 9.

The Georgia WebMBA is a consortium of seven Georgia universities that offer an online master’s in business administration program. Each university in the consortium provides faculty to teach in the Georgia WebMBA. At the end of their time in the program, each graduating cohort selects a faculty member for the Outstanding Faculty of the Year award. Jiang taught Business Strategy in the program.

“I’m honored to receive this award from my MBA students,” Jiang said. “The Georgia WebMBA attracts a lot of successful, bright, and hardworking career-minded students from around the world, but especially from the Atlanta-metro area. I enjoyed learning about all of the knowledge and experience that they brought to and applied in their MBA studies. It was a real pleasure working with them.”

Before joining Elon in August 2020, Jiang was an assistant professor of entrepreneurship at Georgia Southern University’s Parker College of Business.
