This is the next profile in "Elon Connected," a new series that highlights how students are involved with campus organizations at Elon.

Join faculty members from the Department of Political Science and Policy Studies on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 4:15 p.m. to learn more about the 2020 general election results. Faculty will break down where things stand as votes are still being counted in the presidential election.

This update includes information about testing efforts this week on campus, insights into the increase in cases and how the university will support safe travel home by students for Thanksgiving.

Supported by funding from the Student Government Association, students will be able to have items from local retailers and grocery stores delivered to their on- and off-campus residences.

After learning that the fall semester would be unlike any other, the Traditions Council set out to create a safe experience that would engage students with the Elon campus and community.

The Elon graduate, who works as a producer and director for Rocky Mountain PBS, teamed with fellow Elon alumni to create a public service announcement that provides a "symbolic journey through America's history of voting rights."
