The Triad Business Journal highlighted the contributions of Elon President Connie Ledoux Book and trustees Allen Gant Jr. and Bobby Long in its Oct. 30, 2020, special edition.
The Triad Business Journal has named Elon President Connie Ledoux Book and trustees Allen Gant Jr. and Bobby Long “power players” for their contributions to the region.
Book, Gant and Long were among 45 recognized for the roles they play in advancing and promoting the region through education, business and the community.
The publication noted Book’s leadership as Elon has been recognized as a top-100 national university by U.S. News & World Report and her work on Elon’s last two 10-year strategic plans, including the Boldly Elon plan launched earlier this year.
Gant, the chairman and former CEO of Glen Raven, was recognized for his role as “an influential voice in the region, state and in his industry.” Long is the chairman of the Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation Board, and the Triad Business Journal noted his work to champion the region, including his role with the Wyndham Championship golf tournament.
