The 2020 ranking places Elon #99 among four-year colleges and universities, based on aggregate scores of student reviews and the leading college ranking publications.
College Consensus ranks Elon University #99 for National Research Universities 2020. In that category, Elon is among the top 30 universities with a student consensus rating of 78 or greater, tying Duke University with a 78.
College Consensus arrives at its rankings by combining the results “from the most respected college rankings with thousands of real student reviews to produce a unique consensus score for each school.”
Elon’s national ranking is based on Elon’s evaluation in college rankings by U.S. News & World Report, the Wall Street Journal and Wallethub, along with student reviews posted on Niche, Cappex and Students Review. According to College Consensus, “The top universities ranking is the real deal – the ranking of the best colleges nationwide.
