The Elon University Jazz Ensemble will resume rehearsals on campus this Fall. Students are welcome to sign up for MUS-1040-A. No prior jazz experience required.
The Jazz Ensemble at Elon University is back in business for the Fall of 2021 and registration is now open to any and all interested participants. We will be doing our level best to make it a fun, educational, and most importantly, a SAFE experience for everyone involved. Instrumentalists (trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar, bass, drums, and piano) as well as a vocalist or two are invited to join the band, which will rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:10pm. Prior jazz experience is not a necessary and there is availability for student and community participation for no academic credit. Please contact Rusty Smith at rsmith76@elon.edu for any questions.
