Book was included among a group of regional leaders recognized by the business news publication for their role in providing leadership in the region.
Elon University President Connie Ledoux Book has been recognized by the Triad Business Journal as one of the Triad’s “power players” for her role in advancing the region.
In its annual list and profile of Book, the business news publication notes that Book became Elon’s first woman president in 2018 and has played an integral role in the university’s last two 10-year strategic plans, including the Boldly Elon plan introduced last year.
The publication also noted that Elon is ranked #83 among national universities by U.S. News & World Report and #1 for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
