Heather Barker and Kirsten Doehler wrote “Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Statistics Classroom,” which was published on the Stat TLC (Statistics Teaching and Learning Center) blog.

In this post, they discuss various ways that they have infused diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) activities into Introductory statistics coursework. They also discuss their current research which involves investigating how statistics faculty promote the use of DEI related issues in their courses.
