The long-time, generous Elon parent passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, at the age of 88.

The Forum on Education Abroad recognized Wilbourne's research, which explores on impact of Japanese imperialism on a traditional Buddhist drum dance from Korea called “seungmu," or "Monk's dance."

The scholarship in memory of Dean Emeritus & Professor of Law George R. Johnson, Jr., will be awarded to students who have a commitment to promoting the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Elon Law and within the legal profession.

Mike Davis saw many ways to help his classmates thrive during their legal studies. His passion for bettering the community earned him Elon University School of Law’s top student honor at Commencement for embodying the highest levels of selfless leadership and service.

The Phoenix basketball teams displayed their resolve and grit with two clutch non-conference wins.

Elon University is strongly recommending booster shots for students, faculty and staff, and will continue its indoor mask policy through Winter Term and January.

The year-long program will foster civic engagement, reflect on ideals of democracy and freedom, and increase college access for Alamance County high school seniors. It is funded by a $300,000 grant from the Teagle Foundation.
