Taylor, development writer in University Advancement, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, after battling illness for several months.

Ruelle, dean of the Carol Grotnes Belk Library, and Vandermaas-Peeler, professor of psychology and director of the Center for Research on Global Engagement, co-authored a chapter in the most recent American Library Association publication.

The lecturer in cinema and television arts served as the directory of photography on Vox’s recent project highlighting large-scale pig farms – and their waste disposal – in the Tar Heel state.
