The Triad Business Journal has named Elon President Connie Ledoux Book and trustee Allen Gant Jr. “power players” for their contributions to the region.
Book and Gant were among 80 individuals recognized for the roles they play in advancing and promoting the region through education, business and the community.
The publication noted Book’s leadership as Elon has been recognized as a top-100 national university by U.S. News & World Report and her work on Elon’s last two 10-year strategic plans, including the Boldly Elon plan launched earlier this year.
Gant, the chairman and former CEO of Glen Raven, was recognized for his advocacy for economic development in the region and his passion for early childhood education.
