The section of the road between North O'Kelly and North Williamson avenues will be closed from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4.
In order to accommodate for Homecoming Rock The Block Party on Friday, Nov. 4, Haggard Avenue will be closed to vehicles from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. between North O’Kelly and North Williamson avenues. Drivers who normally travel along Haggard Avenue during this time should plan to take an alternative route.
The university will also be blocking off several parking lots at 6 a.m. on Saturday for Elon’s Homecoming football game against the University of Albany. Unauthorized vehicles left in the following lots at 6 a.m., will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Rhodes Stadium (Ingold Lot)
- Barnes lot (Alumni Fieldhouse)
- Global Neighborhood Lot
- Koury/Fine Arts parking lot
- Hunt Lots at Schar Center (Hunt A lot in front of Schar Center and Hunt Softball Stadium, and Hunt B lot behind Schar Center)
- Inman Admissions Welcome Center lot
Rhodes Stadium (Ingold Lot), Barnes lot, Global Neighborhood lot, Hunt A lot (in front of Schar Center and Hunt Softball Stadium), and Koury Fine Arts lot are gameday Pass Only lots. The Oaks parking lot is for OK permits only. Hunt B lot (behind Schar Center) will open at 9 a.m. for public parking and is $10 per vehicle.
Free parking will be available in the McMichael East lot, Innovation Quad lot, Colonnades lot, Station at Mill Point, Psychology and Human Services lot, Truitt Hall lot, Johnston Hall lot, and the Harden Clubhouse lot. These lots will be open 24/7.
Note: The southeast corner of the Ellington Health Center lot at South Campus Gym is reserved for voting parking only. Faculty, staff, student, or visitor parking is not permitted.
There will be shuttles running with pick-up and drop-off locations in the Innovation Quad lot, Colonnades lot, traffic circle on N. O’Kelly and at the Phoenix Statue on Phoenix Drive. The shuttle will begin at 12:30 p.m., 1.5 hours prior to kickoff.
Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis with appropriate plate or placard in approved game day parking areas. If needed, passengers may be dropped off in the Ingold lot.
REMINDER: Parking at the Inn at Elon, is reserved for Inn at Elon guests only.
