Randall Bowman, archivist and assistant librarian, has recertified as a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists. This certification recognizes archivists for their expertise and experience in working with historical materials, arranging and making them accessible according to professional archival standards.

Bowman has been a member of ACA since 2018, when he passed a written examination administered by the Academy. Members of ACA are certified for five years, at which time they can elect to recertify by taking the exam again, or by petition. Randall chose to recertify by petition; a petition consists of credits awarded for professional development and continuing education activities in the archival field, such as attending workshops and professional conferences, doing presentations, and serving in archival associations. He has been recertified through 2030.
