Schwartz was featured on a panel of experts who offered their advice on commuting and saving money.

“Much of the cost of your commute depends on how far you drive each day. So when you’re considering a new job or moving to a different home, it’s worth factoring in the commute distance,” said Schwartz. In addition, keeping your car in good working order, such as maintaining the correct tire pressure and keeping up with scheduled maintenance, can improve your gas mileage. Even a 1 MPG improvement can have a small but noticeable impact on your monthly gas costs. Finally, if you are looking at buying a car, consider the gas mileage. Small differences in gas mileage can add up significantly over time.”
