Professor of Mathematics Jeff Clark presented on “Surreal Numbers” at the annual meeting MathFest of the Mathematical Association of America in Boston on Aug. 7.
Clark has been a member of the MAA since 1978, when he joined as a student member. While at the conference, he also attended talks on abstract algebra and pedagogy as well as talks by some of his many departmental colleagues also attending.
