There is a tornado watch issued for our area until 2 p.m. on March 16 and the storm front with thunderstorms and the possibility of high winds is expected to pass through between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Individuals are encouraged to remain indoors as the storm passes through, with high winds that can result in falling branches and limbs.
Students should check with instructors for further information about alternative plans, which could include the option for online meetings during the scheduled class time, out-of-class activities, readings, or other assignments.
Directors of programs in Greensboro, Charlotte, or other national campus locations communicate directly with affected students and faculty about any weather-related impact to operations and classes at those locations.
Employees are also encouraged to shift any meetings online or consider canceling so you can remain in place during this time.
