Holt Jr. Professor of Business Leadership at Elon, was quoted in the July 2 edition of the (Greensboro, N.C.) News & Record on a story that examines the way cities are planning for a world where the amount of oil that is economically feasible to draw from the earth goes into decline.
“The stark reality is that we’re looking at a world where not too long
in the future, fossil fuel energy will not be around,” Noer said. “We’re in deeper
trouble than we think.”
