Elon students Jonathan Permar and Christopher Weitzen took part in a Japanese speech contest on Saturday, April 2 at Duke University. Both were finalists in the contest and performed their speech without any mistakes.
The received personalized certificates, a contest t-shirt and a $30 gift certificate. Both are students of Meiko Shimura, adjunct instructor in Japanese.
