Interactive Media program welcomes Class of 2011

The School of Communications on Aug. 2 welcomed students enrolled in the second year of the master’s program in Interactive Media, a day that culminates with the group taking its first class as graduate students.
South entrance opened to Alumni Gym

Renovations to Alumni Gym continued this week as work crews knocked out the south wall of the gym to begin building a new main entrance to the home of the Elon Phoenix basketball and volleyball teams.

Yow-Bowden ’74, a member of the Elon University Board of Trustees and one of the nation’s most respected figures in collegiate sports, has been named the new director of athletics at North Carolina State University. She becomes the first woman in N.C. State’s history to head the Wolfpack athletics program.
