Family Weekend will be held Sept. 26-28 on Elon’s campus. Activities include a golf tournament, concerts and the Elon vs. Samford football game.

Parents, grandparents and members of the Elon community are invited to hear nationally known humorist Jeanne Robertson perform on Friday, Sept. 26, as part of Family Weekend 2008. 

Family Weekend will be held Sept. 26-28 on Elon’s campus. Parents, grandparents and friends can now register online for the festivities by accessing the Family Weekend Web site. 

Elon students, faculty and staff began gathering early Wednesday afternoon to await the arrival of former President Bill Clinton. While some wore stickers supporting Hillary Clinton and others carried signs for Barack Obama, many said they were looking forward to gathering more information before deciding how to cast their vote.

Elon President Leo M. Lambert has announced the establishment of the Lumen Prize, the university’s premier award recognizing scholarship. Each year, 15 rising juniors will receive $15,000 scholarships that support and celebrate their academic achievements and potential.
