An annual springtime program hosted by Elon University’s Gender and LGBTQIA Center brought dozens of graduating students and their families together for a shared moment of love and support for one another in the days before Commencement.

Elon’s Department of Political Science and Public Policy editorial leadership of the Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics ends after six years.

At its annual awards celebration on May 7 in Turner Theatre, the School of Communications recognized outstanding student accomplishments, presented its Outstanding Senior Awards, and honored this year’s Kappa Tau Alpha honor society inductees.

LIFE@Elon, a lifelong learning program at Elon, trains its student workers in CPR, AEDs, and first aid to create an environment of preparedness, supporting seniors in the community.

Inspired by Book’s service to Elon, Trustee Kerrii Brown Anderson ’79 has made a $500,000 gift to name the gathering space at the university’s future health and wellness hub.

Five alumni shared notes of gratitude, appreciation and respect for the university, as they received the highest accolades conferred by the Office of Alumni Engagement at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony.

Lewis’s path to and through Elon has included three primary scholarship programs within the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education: Alamance Scholars, NC Teaching Fellows and, post-graduation, Teach for Alamance.
