Golf tournament and tailgate add fun to spring football game

Playing a round of golf with former Elon football players. Tailgating with members of the Phoenix Club. And watching the Phoenix football team play at Rhodes Stadium. Elon alums and sports fans don’t have to wait until fall to get a day like that. All three events are part of the 9th annual Spring Football Game & Tailgate on Saturday, April 24.

Business ethics speaker David Childers advised Elon students to move beyond a sense of ethics as a set of hard and fast rules and toward a life of integrity governed by a sense of personal accountability. Childers, president and CEO of Portland, Oregon-based EthicsPoint, Inc., spoke on campus March 11 as the 2010 Business Ethics Speaker for the Love School of Business.

New members to join Elon Alumni Board

Steven Kinney signs with Major League Soccer team

Former Elon soccer standout Steven Kinney has signed a contract to play for Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire. Kinney became the first player in Elon program history to be drafted in the MLS last January and is the first to be signed by an MLS club after being drafted.

Nationally touring musical featuring Elon student and alumnus stops in Durham

Elon junior Taylor Trensch and alumnus Matt Shingledecker '08 have spent much of the past year headlining the national tour of the Broadway musical, "Spring Awakening." This weekend, the Trensch and Shingledecker will enjoy a homecoming of sorts, as the critically acclaimed tour makes a stop at the Durham Performing Arts Center this weekend.
