Guitar Instructor Chip Newton took part in a guitar workshop hosted by internationally recognized musicians, Martin Taylor and Peppino D'Agostino.

Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, published the article in the peer-reviewed journal Teaching and Teacher Education. 

Research co-authored by Barjinder Singh examines the relationship between spirituality and religion on management of work-family conflict.

Assistant Professor of Biology Jen Hamel and biology major Alina Iwan ’19 co-authored a research presentation for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Annual Interns & Fellows Symposium in Panama City, Panama.

The poster session was part of the N.C. Academy of Physician Assistants Winter Meeting.  

The professor of music had an article published in a the professional trumpet journal.

The Belk librarians shared approaches and strategies to support international experiences at the Workshop on Intercultural Skills Enhancement Conference in Winston-Salem, N.C.
