Elon Law Professor Henry Gabriel represented the State of North Carolina at the annual meeting of the Uniform Law Commission. He was also a U.S. Delegate to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, Working Group on Electronic Commerce. In addition, he was reappointed by the U.S. State Department to another term as a member of the State Department Advisory Committee for Private International Law.

Professor of Mathematics Todd Lee presented on the invited paper "Visual representations of empericial probability distributions when using the granular density metaphor."

Hosted by the American College Personnel Association, the Summer Leadership Institute offered a series of workshops advancing leadership and management potential.  

Twenty faculty members served on panels, presented research and received honors for their academic work.

Professor of Music Thomas Erdmann has a CD review published in a professional women's arts journal.

Belk Library's Dianne Ford led the planning team for the first Science Boot Camp Southeast for Librarians.

The associate professor of psychology was published in the Canadian Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

The assistant professor of education gave four presentations at the 28th Annual "High Schools that Work" Conference in Nashville, Tenn., from July 17-18.

The article was published in the International Journal of Communication and the book review was featured in International Migration Review.
