The School of Education hosted Edcamp Elon, a participant-driven professional development event, on April 19.

She was stopped less than a mile from the end of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Now, Kristin Feeney ’11 plans to cross the finish line to demonstrate the strength of both Boston and Elon – all while raising money for cancer research.

The music production & recording arts alumnus composed and recorded "Light," the first song of a new album produced by Musicians for a Cause in support of the nonprofit One Fund Boston.

As part of the university’s Evening for Elon spring series, two recent events drew more than 350 guests.

Physics major Alison Deatsch ’13 is the first author of a manuscript on magnetic hyperthermia therapeutics published this March in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.  The work, coauthored with Assistant Professor of Physics Ben Evans, describes physical mechanisms behind the remote heating of magnetic nanoparticles.

Elon continues the celebration of its quasquicentennial year with a video about the importance of alumni support for students who follow in their footsteps.
