A passion for entrepreneurship has taken Mital Patel L’09 beyond his law practice in Raleigh, N.C., to conference rooms around the world—including the White House.

The seasoned veteran, who served as a senior personnel executive and assistant general manager with the team in 2006-07, returns as a player personnel scout.

The Distinguished Service Award bestowed on Thompson recognizes the honor he brings to his profession, and his exemplary service to his state and professional association.

The popular program expanded to 32 cities and hit a record number for attendance in 2014.

The LIFE@ELON history book club meetings for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Feb. 11-13) are cancelled.  Meetings are rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 17, at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 a.m.
