The university shared with those registered for the celebration new details about when and where events will take place as well as policy changes impacting the weekend.

The office of Alumni Engagement is bringing back the Elon Alumni in the Ballpark series in a select few cities and regions including NYC, Boston, Triangle, Triad, Alamance County and Atlanta for alumni to connect and join in fellowship. These events will be taking place through the end of August.

Melissa Troutman ’13 G’15 relied on a business plan she developed in class to open Simply Oak Boutique in downtown Elon in 2017.

The James P. Elder Lecture series was first endowed by former students of the popular professor and mentor who has now ensured that the series named for him will endure for future generations.

As chapter presidents transition from virtual programming to in-person events, Welcome to the City will be their first focus as alumni chapter volunteers lean into the year ahead.

The journalism major, who played volleyball at Elon, joined the Worldwide Leader in Sports and its leadership development initiative in late July.

The Elon International Business Dual Degree Class of 2021 completed their undergraduate academic careers, receiving degrees from Elon as well as a European school.

Annabelle Jones, a 2019 graduate of Elon's Master of Education program, was invited to participate in a new professional learning experience alongside educators in North Carolina, Iowa and Kentucky to learn, create, and share innovative practices in social studies education.

The generous gift from Christian Wiggins ’03 will provide scholarships for students from his hometown of western North Carolina as part of A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the Elon LEADS Campaign to inspire donors to include Elon in their estate plans.

Members of the Class of 2020 are invited back to campus Sept. 3-5 for an array of events to celebrate their accomplishments. Registration closes Friday, July 30.
