"Chroma," Elon University’s Spring Dance Concert, explores the theme of intense, pure, or saturated color by showcasing six original dances that delve into chroma by means of stage lighting, movement, music, rebellion and societal metaphors. 

Professor of psychology and director of the Center for Research and Global Engagement, Vandermaas-Peeler received the Distinguished Scholar Award in May 2018.

The department's winter production runs Thursday through Saturday, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in McCrary Theatre. 

In conjunction with The Religious Body Imagined symposium, an exhibition of Christian, Hindu and Buddhist figures will be on view in Numen Lumen Pavilion with an opening reception on Friday, Feb. 8, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
