The loss closes out a season that saw the team repeat as CAA Tournament champions and earn a second-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The 5,100-seat, 160,000-square-foot facility will provide a premier gathering space for major campus events and serve as the new home for Elon's basketball and volleyball programs when it opens this year.

T. William "Bill" Morningstar Jr., who served under three Elon presidents as a coach across multiple sports, was honored at the 11th annual Night of the Phoenix. 

To be eligible, student-athletes must earn at least a 3.0 grade point average.
