Elon University earns 34 badges for excellence in rankings based on the outcomes of a college education. Elon earns nine “top 5 percent” national rankings for the quality and focus of its academic programs.

Ten Martha and Spencer Love School of Business students were initiated into the accounting and finance organization.

Morillon’s thesis “Three Essays on Mergers and Acquisitions” was selected for recognition.

Associate Chaplain for Muslim Life Shane Atkinson has been awarded the full-tuition Muhammad Ali Scholarship to support his graduate studies in Muslim chaplaincy at the Chicago Theological Seminary.

The grant will support the adaptation of an open textbook for use in the Gateway to Business course.

The grant will support Wolter's ongoing research to find a cost-effective and sustainable solution for sanitizing wastewater in regions that otherwise do not have access to clean water and food.

Kopetskie, communications manager in the School of Communications and adviser to Phi Psi Cli, was recognized for his distinguished service to Elon University’s yearbook and students.

Five faculty members were honored on Monday, Aug. 19, for their excellent work in Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences.  

Chunco, associate professor of environmental studies, will spend the next two years as the Japheth E. Rawls professor for Undergraduate Research in Science.
