The 38 new graduates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program's Class of 2021 participated in their Commencement ceremony in the Great Hall on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Faculty and community members spoke of the legacy of grief and terror spawned by ongoing racial inequity and violence. Elon University must address its past and accelerate change for justice and equality, they said.

The Phoenix Piano Trio's concert and a lecture by Beethoven scholar David B. Levy of Wake Forest University will begin streaming on the music department's Facebook page at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The performance is directed by Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Keshia Wall and will be streamed at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 and 27 at elonperformingarts.com.

The Sunday, Feb. 28, event will include a panel featuring Black alumni who will lead a discussion on the depictions of the Black community in television and film.

Sunshine Week 2021 events will be held virtually from March 15 - 18, 2021, coinciding with National Sunshine Week. Registered guests are invited to attend events on information access and government transparency issues facing North Carolina citizens.

We are pleased to announce the 17th Annual Elon Teaching and Learning Conference is now open for proposal submissions.

The conference theme of “Growth Through Adversity” runs through conference topics and has helped boost registration.

"An Introduction to Afrofuturism in Rap" is part of the Rap, Race, Gender and Philosophy course. The program is also part of the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity's Black History Month events around "Imagining a Black Future."

Love Your Body Week is organized by Campus Recreation & Wellness and will be held Feb. 22-26.
