The Sept. 24 fun run, 5K and 10K race is hosted by the Elon University's Physician Assistant Studies program to benefit the clinic that cares for more than 600 uninsured Alamance County patients annually. 

Elon University School of Law faculty and staff will welcome students and their families to campus this weekend for mock classes, moot court demonstrations, and a silent auction to benefit scholarship funds.

Two workshops, both containing the same information, will be held in October for first-year students interested in a health professions, such as the medical or dental fields, physician assistant programs, physical therapy, nursing and pharmacy.

All are welcome to the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion to observe monks from the Kadampa Center as they create a sand mandala for Elon University.

Opening ceremony is Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. with viewing until 6 p.m.

Viewing hours on Sept. 22 are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Closing ceremony is Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. with viewing beginning at 9 a.m.
