Hosted by Elon families, summer welcome events are intended for incoming students and their parents to meet other members of Elon's Class of 2020 as well as current families and staff.

Members of the Elon community are invited to gather at 4 p.m. Monday to remember the victims of Sunday morning's mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.

The Tuesday evening event, which is free and open to the public, is presented by Temple Emanuel with the Greensboro Jewish Federation Cardozo Society. 

A former adviser to four American presidents who currently serves as co-director of the Center for Leadership at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, Gergen will share his wisdom and advice with Elon graduating seniors and their families on May 21, 2016.
