On Aug.. 15, 2024, faculty and staff gathered at Elon University for the fourth annual Global Pedagogy Workshop, focusing on how study away programs can better prepare students for the complexities of a rapidly changing world.

The Elon Los Angeles program offered a night of fright with the “The Business of Horror and Monsters," an exploration of the horror film genre with Hollywood veteran James Ferrera.

Among those visiting will be environmentalist and author Leah Thomas, columnist Arthur C. Brooks, retired U.S. Navy Admiral Mike Mullen, historian and author Jonathan Eig, decorated combat pilot Vernice Armour and Phi Beta Kappa leader Frederick M. Lawrence.
