The university marked it annual day of giving with a host of events on campus and around the globe for Elon students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends.

Four female professionals, including Elon alumna Amber Smith ’14, will share advice and experience with Elon students from 6:30- 8 p.m. Wed., March 13, in McKinnon Hall.

Daniel Griffin, associate professor of geography at the University of Minnesota, will deliver “Tree Rings and the Promise of Environmental Change” as part of the Voices of Discovery speaker series on Tuesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. in McCrary Theatre.

The Elon DataFest will celebrate the 2023-24 Data Nexus Theme of Discovering Data in Our Daily Lives and will offer a Data Challenge and AI Toolfest.

Students heard from six alumni who shared advice about careers in K-12 and higher education, law enforcement, social work and entrepreneurship at the event.

On Monday, Feb. 26, author Jessie van Eerden visited Elon University for a creative nonfiction reading. 

The Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life at Elon hosted its annual wInterfaith event on Feb. 28 with the theme, “Intersections of Race and Religion,” with a panel discussion about religious, spiritual and ethical traditions.

On March 13th, 2024 Elon graduate admissions invites all Elon students and employees interested in graduate education opportunities at Elon to an informational dinner reception in Turner Theatre. Learn about the graduate programs Elon has to offer.
