ISSOTL plenary session focuses on striking a balance between generalized and situated research, especially in regard to studies of teaching and learning.

Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) are facilitating Simple Strategies for Flipped Instruction - a working group for faculty interested in flipped instruction. 

A four-day event organized by the university’s Center for Engaged Learning has drawn to North Carolina hundreds of scholars from around the world with an interest in the “disruptive forces” that are changing the way students learn.

The Doherty Center offers scholarships for students interested in entrepreneurship, sponsors a speaker series, and awards the Elon University Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership to business leaders who epitomize the values of the university.

In a recently published article, Elon Law Professor Tom Molony identifies ambiguities in federal law and judicial frameworks that have attempted to define when fraudulent activity is connected to securities transactions. Molony’s article also poses solutions to the lack of clarity in this area of law. 

The assistant professor in the School of Education has been selected by Phi Delta Kappa International as a part of its 2013-2014 cohort of Emerging Leaders.

The class takes places at 3 p.m. in Jordan Gym. 

Victoria Fischer Faw, professor in the department of music, presented a lecture recital as Distinguished Lecturer in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
