Elon Law Associate Dean Enrique Armijo spoke with National Public Radio for a story on the conditions of pre-trial release for some demonstrators charged by federal authorities in Portland, Oregon, and how those conditions may violate the First Amendment.

The latest update from the Ready & Resilient Committee to faculty and staff members on a range of topics related to Fall semester.

The film, "First Chances," chronicles the story and life of Timothy Jackson, a formerly incarcerated California gang member turned successful entrepreneur.

Members of the campus community are asked to use the tool daily as a way to track their health and determine their level of risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. The tool does not gather any personal information.

Research co-authored by the assistant professor of management is published in the Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion.

Edited by William Moner, Phillip Motley and Rebecca Pope-Ruark, “Redesigning Liberal Education: Innovative Design for a Twenty-First-Century Undergraduate Education” provides case studies of innovation at several institutions and vision chapters of higher education’s future, with notable contributions from Elon faculty, staff and administrators.

The grant supports Ryu's travel to work with Dr. Susanna Röblitz at the University of Bergen in Norway on her research project, "A Mathematical Model of Macrophage Differentiation in the Tumor Microenvironment." 

Faculty in the School of Education demonstrated excellent tech tools to help engage students and enhance teaching in the fall via WebEx on Tuesday, July 28.

Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, published the article in the peer-reviewed Computers & Education.

The 20 students in this year's Master of Arts in Interactive Media program will learn how to use the latest coding, graphic design and production techniques during the 10-month, full-time program.
