The first English Language Teaching Symposium at Elon will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16. Elon faculty, students, alumni and members of the community are invited to join us in sharing culturally-diverse pedagogies for working with English language learners under the symposium theme “Bridging Divides | Creating Community.”

The longtime broadcast journalist joined Senior Lecturer Randy Piland to offer professional expertise and guidance to Interactive Media students traveling abroad as part of a Winter Term course.

Many student cohorts benefit from the residency of acclaimed author who visited Elon to collaborate with Associate Professor of French Olivia Choplin in her course FRE 349: French Theater in Production. 

The meeting was held Jan. 23-26 in Washington, D.C., with 17,000 people attending.

The annual two-day jazz festival will feature three guest artists who will engage with student ensembles from area middle and high schools and Elon's university jazz ensemble.

Squire, a professor of computer science, discussed how the Facebook Messenger app will be integrated with Whatsapp and Instagram using end-to-end encryption.
