Naeemah Clark, associate professor of communications, offered her insights for an article that looked at the automotive company's decision to use civil rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in a Super Bowl commercial. 

The second edition of "Mobility in Context: Principles of Patient Care Skills," authored by Charity Johansson and Susan Chinworth and published by F. A. Davis Company, instructs students in patient mobility skills that are based on current clinical evidence and practiced within the context of patient-centered care.

Katie Baker, assistant professor of education, has been awarded a Service, Teaching and Research (STaR) Fellowship through the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators.

Abby Deese, a reference librarian at Elon University School of Law, travels to Illinois in April for professional development and networking opportunities at the 2018 American Association of Law Librarians Leadership Academy.

The annual service-learning conference hosted by North Carolina Campus Compact revisits the “students as colleagues” approach and  includes 40 breakout workshops on various civic and community engagement topics

Representatives from 27 colleges and universities will gather at Elon to explore the theory and practice of “deliberative pedagogy.”

Co-sponsored by The Center For Writing Excellence and ENGf 110/College Writing, this informal workshop will focus on the use of writing as a tool for becoming more present in our daily lives. Lunch served, so please register. 

Meredith Allison and alumna Erin Martin co-authored an article on Canadian and American perceptions of sex offender registries with colleague Sandy Jung of MacEwan University in Canada.
