The chair of the Department of Economics will assume her new role starting June 1.

The assistant professor of sport and event management led presentations addressing the development of student leadership and the practice of equity, diversity and inclusion in collegiate recreation environments.

Steve Friedland, associate dean for innovation in engaged learning in law, spoke with veteran journalist Bob Buckley of "The Buckley Report" about ongoing research at Elon Law focused on improvements to legal education.
