Jim Roberts of the Music Department studied Afro-Cuban rhythms and music in the heart of Havana. 

Elon Law is hosting a Sept. 6 conversation with several thought leaders and legal practioners on the way women are portrayed in pop culture, with the recorded discussion to be distributed to media later this year via LST Radio.

The celebration will be Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. in McCrary Theatre with a community reception to follow. 

The articles were published in the International Journal of Sports Medicine and the journal NeuroRehabilitation.

The associate professor presented on  interventions and how musculoskeletal ultrasound can guide tendinopathy treatment.

Brian Lyons, Robert Moorman, Elena Kennedy, Rosey Bao and Sean McMahon shared their scholarship during the association’s annual meeting.

Associate Professor of History Michael Matthews has published an essay that examines the sensational 1891 murder trial of Enrique Rode, a middle-class English professor who killed his wife in Mexico City. 

Research co-authored by Alisha Horky, assistant professor of marketing, examines both annoying marketing and creepy marketing from a consumer’s perspective.

Associate Professor David S. Levine and Tim McFarlin, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow at Elon Law, presented their scholarship at the 16th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference.
