The new 80-room boutique hotel located on the campus of Elon University in North Carolina is now open to the public.

Alumni, parents and friends gathered at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn on Wednesday, Dec. 4, to celebrate the historic Elon LEADS fundraising campaign in their region.

The $4,000 Community Partnership Initiative Grant not only helped students at Eastlawn Elementary School in Burlington, North Carolina, expand their school's garden, but it also helped teach valuable lessons.

As a philanthropic arm of the legal community, the Greensboro Bar Association Foundation’s gift to Elon Law will help support the school’s expansive print and digital collections, including a Westlaw public access terminal.

More than 25 donors have stepped forward to name a room at the new boutique hotel, which is scheduled to open in early January on Elon’s campus.

The 10,000-square-foot, two-story building officially opened in September and includes gathering and study space for students, faculty and staff.

The new studio in the Koury Athletic Center, made possible through a gift from Elon parents Rick and Laura Needham P’19, will support both academic and wellness programs on campus.
